Adventure travel

explore the world and your own potential

Adventure travel has a way of stripping life down to its essentials—challenge, awe, and discovery. Whether you are crossing high-altitude passes, traversing snowfields and glaciers, or simply stepping into the unknown, each journey becomes a mirror, reflecting both your strength and your doubts. And yet, time and again, we find that we are capable of more than we ever imagined. The beauty of adventure lies not just in the landscapes we traverse, but in the limits we transcend. At SacredSummit, we invite you to explore not only the world’s most stunning places, but also the edges of your own potential.

Mount Baker

On July 20, 2025, Dr. Sherrilene Classen reached the 10,790-foot summit of Mount Baker in Washington’s Northern Cascades—a feat as much about mental resolve as physical achievement.

Dr. Sherrilene Classen, along with nine of her friends, traveled to experience the beauty and awe of Mount Everest and to reflect on the challenges that a person must overcome to lead and persevere through teamwork and determination.

Tour Du Mont Blanc Trek

Our team joyously completed the Tour Du Mont Blanc, embarking on July 17th and concluding on July 31st, 2024. Throughout this remarkable journey, we covered 110 miles over 11 days, conquering 2-3 mountains daily, with a breathtaking cumulative ascent of 35,000 feet.

Appalachian Trail

Hiking the Appalachian Trail is not merely a physical endeavor; it’s a soul-stirring odyssey. This activity demands meticulous planning, sacrifices, and unwavering determination. But within those challenges lies a transformative adventure—one that connects one to the rugged wilderness, tests one’s limits, and leaves an indelible mark on one’s spirit.

Forest Path
Appalachian Trail - Tennessee

On the 27th of August, seven of us, professional women, left for a 4-day adventure on the Appalachian Trail (AT). We completed ~ 50 miles, trekking about 12 miles every day. We have encountered, as can be expected in the mountains, elevation of up to 6000 feet, with cumulative ascends and descends.

I went into my first professionally guided hike feeling nervous and unsure—but thanks to Sherrilene’s incredible preparation, I felt confident and ready before we even set foot on the AT trail. Her checklists, packing tips, lodging plans, and detailed daily hiking breakdowns left nothing to guesswork. Once we started hiking, everything shifted. Spending hours immersed in nature was calming, freeing, and deeply refreshing, like a mental reset combined with a soul grounding ritual. The group of women I hiked with was inspiring, supportive, and so much fun to be around.

Even as a beginner, I always felt included and capable thanks to flexible route options and thoughtful pacing. Yes, my feet were sore—but my spirit was soaring!

I’d do it again in a heartbeat and recommend it to anyone considering it. If you’re even thinking about it—GO. You won’t regret it.

tESTIMONIALS

Trail adventure with Sherrilene:

Organized to the smallest detail, all you have to do is show up, smile and enjoy the experience! I loved the opportunity to deepen and develop friendships with likeminded individuals, physical challenges while being surrounded by the stunning nature, and an opportunity to quiet and distance myself from everyday stressors.

Nancy B., G'ville, Florida

I enjoyed getting to know the ladies on a more personal level. Theres nothing like a walk in the woods to quiet the world around you.

Heather W., G'ville, Florida

Hiking with 6 empowered women elicited three themes for me:

Transformative - Being on the trail changes you both inside (emotionally and spiritually) and outside (physically).

Simple - Life is just one step in front of the other and the worries of the world fall away.

Sisterhood - Walking side by side with such a diverse group of women, who are sharing strength and laugher, is truly inspirational.
